I have a degree from the School of Business at FIU. I also played division one football there for five years. I have aspirations to go to the NFL. I have worked with children down in Miami at Kids XL at the church that I used to go to. I enjoy coaching and ministering to people of all ages. I have helped coach as a volunteer at Lincoln High School, which is also my alma mater. I am well experienced in the offensive line, and can teach techniques and prepare athletes for the next level. Aside from the physical aspect of college athletics, I can also be a mentor for those that have questions or who need advice in that area.
A Tallahassee native raised by his mother. Darius Givens attended Lincoln High School, where he played under coach David Wilson and took part in State Championship titles in 1999 & 2001. After receiving a full athletic scholarship to Illinois State University in 2003, he went on to play his first two collegiate years at I.S.U. before transferring to Bethany College, a private University in Kansas. There he finished his remaining years of football and majored in Criminal Justice.
